Steering Column and Turn Signal Switch Problems!! So I have a 96 Camaro and have some problems with the steering column and Turn Signal/Cruise/Wiper switch. First off my switch might be ok, but it is hard to turn on the signal's and it wont turn the bright's on. I also have another problem, you can take the steering wheel and pull it down and to the lower left. Which makes me think it has a pin problem in the column. I have searched for write up's on checking/repairing/troubleshooting this problem but have had no luck. Anyone know of a good write up or could lend some detail before I tear into this? Thanks...
Do you hear a click? It could be a bad high beam switch or a problem with the linkage. (A linkage runs down the column and engages the switch at the base.)

No, it seems to try and click but don't. I can push the switch forward and they will come on momentary.
