Removed ac from ls1, must I plug up the holes

Default Removed ac from ls1, must I plug up the holes

The holes that are now there after removing the 2 metal lines that then lead into the firewall, do I have to plug them? Wat do they Leed to?

plug them well if you value the car,
they go to the evaporator which is what made the air cold coming out of the vents when the AC did work,
if you leave it exposed you will ruin that refrigerant plumbing inside the evaporator, and if you ever wanted the AC to work again you will need to put in a new evap. which is expensive and hard to do.

Plastic, rubber, whatever you can find to seal it. Your local parts store should have something that would work.

Why are you removing the lines? Are you eventually going to fix it? If not just leave it open. But plug them if you are going to fix it.

I went to auto zone and they were useless.......I would like to plug them just in case

i don't know exactly what it looks like but whenever you buy a new part it'll have plastic caps pushed into the part, like the red ones in these.
try looking for those. i forget at the moment what they're called exactly.

You should plug it if you want that option. I did plug mine in the beginning but not anymore. I don't see ac ever going back into this car.
