Default weird noise

my 2001 trans am has been making a weird noise for instance today when i started the car it was good but when the car got up to operating temperature. it started making the noise, it sounds like it on the bottom passanger side right where the starter is. it doesn’t always do it and sometimes. i will start the car and it will be doing it already and it won’t ever stop until you stop the car. i can’t seem to narrow it down. i tried to upload a video i hope you can view it. the car has 46,000 miles if it helps

That dosen't sound good but you stated that it comes and goes right? I'd probably start with a bolt check, possibly pull the starter to inspect the torque converter bolts and flexplate.

You will probably need to get it up on a lift or at least some jacks to find it. Could be an exhaust leak or break in the exhaust. I had a noise that I swore was internal engine but turned out to be a broken exhaust.

Sounds very similar to the issue I'm trying to track down on my recent purchase. I refer to it as a random clanking noise I get as if a bolt or something is bouncing around randomly.
Have you made any headway on it?
