Start by checking the rear window defogger. It shares a circuit breaker with the seat. That circuit breaker takes a beating and is known to go bad over time.
If the circuit works, the next thing to do is to take the seat out and probe the electrical under it.
Mine did the same thing. It was the pins on the plug for the switch on the side of the seat. I wiggled it as best as I could and got it to work again. Corroded pins over the years.
Took the big connector apart. 12VDC with car off. Looks clean and get 12vdc with connector on. No power seats and the seat cont be removed, its covering the nuts. Ideas?
The frame rails are covering up the nuts in the position the seat is in.
Stock seats are attached to 4 studs that poke through the carpet and are held down by 4 nuts. Those nuts are covered by black plastic covers. If you have a stock seat and are looking under the car, then you are looking in the wrong place.
