lt1 overheating

lt1 well i got a 96 z28 camaro 6spd with 110,000 miles on it at a red light it will try to over heat but on the high way it runs fine i cheaked the t-stat it was fine any idears what it can be?

Also look under the front bumper @ the radiator, these cars have a habit of scooping leaves and crap up onto the radiator, try to spray it with the fans out from the engine forward also. The only other thing I can think of is to make sure the systems bled and the water pump blades aren't trashed and inefficient.

it just gets hot i guess the front air dam is on its all stock no cheak gauges come on on the high way it runs fine right under the middle line at a light its all most to the 260 mark
