where is the sensor for the outside temperature located?

Mine is just outside my kitchen window, just north of the patio set. I comes in very handy for knowing how to dress the kids in the morning.

You talking about the intake air temperature sensor (IAT)? That would be located in your air lid. If that's not what u're talkin about, expand a little bit on what you're lookin for.

the IAT sensor is located on the drivers side of the neck of the lid,

the sensor that reads the temperature outside and gets displayed in the climate control digital display area in the center of the dash , tough crowd lol

Temp sensor??? Mine is in the tip of my finger. I stick it out the window at about 90 mph for a reading..

The sensor on the Vette is located just under the front bumper, on the passenger side. There is a diagram posted on Corvetteforum somewhere, but they disabled their search feature right now so I cannot find it. Hopefully someone here has that diagram which shows it's exact location.

My parts catalog shows that it's located under the dash panel next to the windshield defrost ducts.. GM part#10248414(ambient outside air temp sensor).
