is this enough coolant?

i didnt know it was 5.....i realized this when i put the old coolant back in the container. There was around 1 qt left. I followed the install university document. More coolant was still coming out when i drained it and it seemed like a lot so i tightened the drain **** and filled the radiator with the new coolant.

i bought a gallon of the prestone 50/50 mix and put all of it in there w/some redline watter wetter. do you think another qt should be fine. how can i tell how much more i need. When the engine is cold and if i look in the radiator and the coolant is at the top, do i need to add more???

also, on install u. it says 2 qts of distilled watter, and 2 qts dexcool. 1 last thing, i only drained the radiator,i didnt flush the whole system out.

did you vent the air out of it?
also next time dont by the premixed stuff, it cost almost the same and 1/2 of it is water... get strait dex and mix yourself(and it will mean you have 8 qts so you wont be short...)
keep an eye on it... make good and sure all the air is out of the system and as long as it is full you should be fine

Why would you do this? You are supposed to completely drain the system, Then fill per instructions on install university.
