I have a '98 Trans Am. Yesterday, while using the A/C condensation puddled, and I mean really puddled on the passenger side floor. Today I took out the glove box door, and the cover for the heater core. I started the car, ran the A/C and condensation ran out again. It is not antifreeze....I felt it with me fingers, and just touched my fingertip to my tongue...no taste. What is wrong, and what to do to fix this....

Could be a clogged evaporator. Compressed air to the drain will usually move the debris enough to allow the water to drain. Just dont stick your face under it to see if it is working.

Is the evaporator the part of the system where a line comes into it from the accumulator, and another line comes to it from the top of the condenser? If this is the evaporator then that I am looking at, where would the drain hole be located that I may use a coat hanger to open it? Also, does the A/C system need discharged first before I do this? Tks.

all the garbage that sits on the intake (windshield cowel) for the Hvac system when you use the fresh air option gets sucked in to the evaporator box or when you use the max air button all the dirt in the car hair lint, dust all goes in there the drain is only like a 1/4 inch big and gets pluged rather easliy

Would it be behind the computer, or more towards the intake? Or, do I gain access to it from under the car, or from the inside of the car? Thanks again!

OK. I give up....I can't find it either.
I understand it's where the firewall meets the wheel well on pass side.
But how high? or how low???
Can you see it by looking into the engine bay from the top?
Or do you have to get to it from the bottom with the car on ramps?
I don't know jack about AC, but I know I get those puddles once in a while, too.
A pic would be of great help.

Mine just happened today. After reading 2 different threads, i believe I solved my clogged weephole.
From under the car, the weephole is between the framerail and the cat (pAss. side, obviously). The hole is the size of a #2 pencil (as described by Schantin, I think).
You will see it as you're looking up between the frame and the cat, it's part of the black box. I just slowly poked it my finger, and she poured...
