What brand and what weight ????

Is it recommended we stay with 5W-30 ????

i usually will run the wix oil filter. and run ams oil 5w 30.

Mobil1 10W30, with oversized Mobil1 oil filter.

royal purple 10w30 and wix filter, just switched today to mobil 1 5w30 and mobil 1 oil filter

Usually this topic comes up in regards to synthetics.

I use Mobil 1 0w40 and Mobil 1 or K&N filter.

Similar combo Mobil 1 oil k&n filter...I just thought I'd mention I use 0w40 for warmer months only.

I run good old M1 0W40 European Formula and a K&N filter. I had to much of a consumption issue with M1 5W30.
