It takes the PCM some time to relearn the idle after power is disrupted. Usually some driving and idling time, plus a restart or two.

There is also an idle relearn proceedure you can perform. Basically, all you have to do is let the car get up to normal operating temps, then let it idle for 5 mins with the A/C off, and 5 with the A/C on. Then shut it off for 10-15 seconds and restart. Auto trans has a couple more steps (in gear/in park) but that's all there is for an M6.

My car is a weekend driver and sometimes when it sits for 2 weeks and mine does that. I just let it idle for like 10 min and finally she learns all over again.
