One thing that is nice about Hyundai is they do have their service info freely available online
http://www.enjoythedrive.com/content/?id=26402 describes it...
the link mentioned there has changed to https://dcs.hyundaidealer.com/customer/index.jsp
and the 'Tech Info' link from there leads to http://www.hmaservice.com/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyundai_Accent says there were three engine variations offered in the 2000 Accent:
1.5 L 12-valve SOHC Alpha I4, 92 hp (69 kW) and 97 ft.lbf (132 Nm)
1.5 L 16-valve DOHC Alpha I4, 101 hp (75 kW) and 98 ft.lbf (133 Nm)
1.6 L 16-valve DOHC Alpha I4, 104 hp (78 kW) and 106 ft.lbf (144 Nm)

The G4EK is a 1.5 L engine. The SOHC 1.5 S generated a respectable but not notable 92 hp (69 kW) at 5500 rpm and 97 ft·lbf (132 N·m) at 4000 rpm. DOHC on the Alpha II pushed output to 101 hp (75 kW) at 5800 RPM and 98 ft·lbf (133 N·m) at 3000 rpm.
The alpha family continued at least through 2005 in Hyundai's Accent economy car. The G4ED Alpha II was enlarged to 1.6 L (1595 cc) thanks to a 76.5 mm bore and 87 mm stroke. A 10:1 compression ratio produced 104 hp (78 kW) at 5800 rpm with 106 ft·lbf (144 N·m) of torque at 3000 rpm.
The Alpha II has a cast iron engine block and aluminum DOHC cylinder heads with 4 valves per cylinder. It uses MFI fuel injection and features forged steel connecting rods. The Alpha engine family is produced in Ulsan, South Korea.

Why not have one engine and just slightly detune to each required HP level?
What is the point?
(By seperate engines I mean why are they all different configs? Why can't they change the power level in the software to save money????)

What question of yours has not been answered?
And how the heck is it 'Way To Much Infomation' if he asks for information about the engine's internals, and I provide what little information is available regarding the engines. zamboxl sent me a PM thanking me for it.
Perhaps if you want people to continue answering your questions, you should try a less impolite attitude and not take one of the hundreds of other questions that are answered daily here as a personal affront.

Just remember that that's a >10% increase in performance!
