Help! ASAP!
I noticed a hissing coming from my car last night. When I opened the hood today I noticed this

There shouldn't be a hole there should there?! How do I fix this? Anyone encountered this?

Is that where your hearing the sound from? The EGR tube does need to be seated properly, and if it's sucking air you should be throwing a code - but there's no hole/bolt on the left side.

Well it's not throwing a code. I hadn't noticed that on the left side so it startled me when I saw it. Which means the problem is elsewhere. Thanks for the help. I'll take another look. Any ideas where I should look first?

Found it! It's the hose that goes from the back of the engine along the side of the intake to the pcv valve. There's a metal piece that's inserted into the end near the pcv valve that curles around the pcv valve. On the other end of this metal piece there's another small hose probably 3 inches long that looks like it goes to the top of the engine block.
Where does this hose attach to? I follow it along the intake and then it disappears behind the engine. Easy to replace or do I need to get out the electrical/duct tape and make it work?

Just guessing...but if the AC wasn't running you can probably eliminate that, only other thing that I can think of that would make a hissing sound would be the cooling system (when hot), or maybe a vacuum/air system leak. Sorry can't help more.
