Please Help/irritating noise My Serpintine belt is driving me nuts! 
It has a brand new tensioner, brand new belt and I took it to my local Chevy dealer and he put some synthetic belt compound on it and the squeaking went away. My car then sat outside during a snowstorm for two days and now the damn thing is sqeaking again. Is it just because of the cold/dry air (Colorado)? And will a little more of the synthetic belt compound take care of this? Also, I overreved the motor a while back and bent some pushrods and thats when the squeaking started. Obviously there are new pushrods in it but would this have anything to do with it??? Anybody know of any home remedies? Thanks and Sorry for the long post.

Take the ac belt off and drive around, that will eliminate those pullies.
