Default Wheel - Ticking/Clicking Sound

Lately, I've been hearing a ticking/clicking noise from the front left tire when its turned and I am moving forward or backward. Has anyone else experience this problem?

A couple of people think it might one of the following:
- ball joint
- Spring noise

Any feedback will be appreciated..

Has anyone got this replaced? How much?

Is there a way to check first to see if this is a problem?

before you go thru repairing. check for a rock stuck in your tire. this will cause a ticking/clicking sound. just a suggestion

So my husband and I lifted the car last night, and check to see t he status of the ball joint. Visually we did not see any crack or anything obvious that would pop out at us. At first we thought that it could be a wire loom rubbing up against the tire, so we zip tie it and test drove the car. Ticking/clicking still there.

Any other suggestion would be appreciated.

I have the same problem with my front passenger side wheel. Im taking it into the shop tomorrow, im almost positive it is the CV joint...or one of the ball joints.

I had the noise checked out yesterday. Didn't find any problem with the ball joints. Checked out everything else. Removed the wheel, brakes, etc. Greased up a couple of the parts... and Voila, noise is gone.
