Door falling apart.
I'm going to guess it's bond failure between the outer and inner door shells.
Epoxy will hold it for awhile, but it'll probably come back apart. My buddy had the same problem and the epoxy he used held for a couple years until he sold it.
Maybe someone can chime in with a more proven solution, and fyi improper glass alignment is sometimes what causes this. The glass acts like a lever trying to split the door apart, and if the glass alignment is way off, this force gets to high and you get this problem. So, if you've recently had door work done that included glass alignment, I'd be pounding on thier door right off.

Todd you are correct. I had a broken window alignment piece. The one with felt on the end and I fixed it my self I believe it has been like this sinse then and I just noticed it this weekend. I think I will take it to a body shop unless someone else has a fix. I want the fix to last forever.
Replied to PM. Talking to a long established body shop or maybe a GM body shop would be a good start.
Back when this happened to my buddy they quoted him several hundred dollars to fix it, and said "but we can't guarantee it'll hold". Since we were still in college it was pretty much a no brainer to try the epoxy after hearing that.
I would recommend taking a better picture, clearly explaining it, and asking for more input. I think it is a fairly common problem. Someone could probably recommend the best adhesive to use, like a commercial grade loctite or 3M product.
