Yeah, when I recently did mine, it barely smoked at all. During idle or when I drove it hard... I noticed a much smoother idle and acceleration. I did it to try and improve my MPG, but helped it more city than it did Hwy...

I figure I'll do it again at my next oil change, to clean it out again. Then probably once a year for me.

When he says disconnect the hose to your TB to spray deep creep in, does he mean the bellows?

Quick question... If i've ALWAYS used Chevron Supreme gas in my car for the two years I've owned it, should I even worry about using Seafoam in my gas tank? I mean, Supreme has quite a bit of Techron in it from what I understand.

Just seafoamed my car. Nothing but a small puff of smoke came out when I started it, and another small one when I drove off. I guess I just wasted $30.

GREAT write-up regardless!

Mine didn't smoke hardly at all either. But I did notice a much better throttle response.

Im not sure weather i should seafoam mine or not. Im sure it needs it but i have an oil leak already and im worried the seafoam may clean it out too well and it'll leak like crazy.
any thoughts?

I have a question about this, I just seafoamed my LS6 for the first time, and it didn't die. I pulled the brake booster and it idled kinda crappy, but as soon as I started pouring in the foam it went back to normal idle, no matter how much I pour. I shut the key off and it wouldn't shut the hell off, kept idling at like 500rpm. I ended up having to reattach the booster line and plug the throttle body to get it to shut off. Anyone else get this?

I might do mine again when the next oil change comes around, as I got hardly any smoke my 1st time.

My 125K Tahoe is about due...

A fair amount of smoke came out of both the Z28 and the WS6....and they had a lot less miles on em....should be fun.

Got a question here - I have a magnacharger and Magnuson said NO F'N WAY to putting seafoam through it. They said it could cause premature wear and potential failure of the bearings.

Well I don't like that answer because my car is getting to almost 50k miles and I am ready to up the boost on the maggie. Before I do that, I'd like the inside of my engine to be as squeaky clean as possible. I've also had the internal bearings go out once before and I DON'T need to go through that again.

What if I spray some seafoam directly into the cylinders through the spark plug holes and let it sit for a bit? Obviously I wouldn't get the full benefit of running it through the intake while the car is running, but maybe this could have some benefit?

I know, I wish Wal Mart carried this stuff, I'm sure it'd be cheaper.

I just spent 20 bucks on this stuff at Autozone today...

9.99 for Deep Creep, and 8.99 for the bottle.

It sucks, but if it works, it's a heck of alot cheaper than taking it to a shop.
