wierd a/c noise..

Default wierd a/c noise..

i have a 98 z and my a/c on full blast makes a wierd clanking noise from the interior fan? anyone got any ideas on what it could be...its always done this since i got it i just never use the a/c.

Have you pulled the blower motor/fan from the airbox - maybe something is in there - had small leaves in mine once. Just unplug the connector, remove 3 screws and the whole unit comes out.

sweet, i took those three connectors off, then took those small bolts out and it dropped right out. that whole plastic blower thing was full with leaves, its amazing it even turned. i can actually feel the a/c goin on low now, before i had to have it on full blast to even feel anything....
