Default Turn Signal Replacement

Hi I have a 1998 Z28 and my right turn signal went out. I was able to change the bulb but I cant get it to snap back in being so damn tight trying to get ur hand in there. Anyway anyone no the precedure for this? Also cause I couldnt get it to lock in I lost the bulb inside the turn signal so now I have one loose inside there. Probably a major project to get it out??

There's little plastic access flaps on the bottom of the car right in front of the front tires on both sides. Remove a couple screws to open the flap & you should be able to reach up there easily.

Lifesaver. Did a search and it was SO worth it just removing the 2 screws real quick. My brother always said not to its just as easy as doing it from the top... boy was he wrong.

I have always done it from the bottom through the flap. Why would anyone try another way?

I found it easier to remove the headlight and go from the top.

i just sucked up the pain, and jamned my hand in that little area underneath and put the new bulb in.....just take your time trying to lock it in...feel it through, you will feel it click in, and then just turn

Yeah, that's what I do... It's the easiest once you get the hang of it.

Removing the headlight WTH? Open the flap... you don't even need ANY tools. Use your fingers to turn the plastic screws a quarter turn. Reach inside and replace it. BAM- done.

well i can fit my hand in there without takin anything apart... but in a camaro ls1... its way easier to just take off the headlight.. not hard at all, and this way you dont have to get on the floor!
