i talked to them he said he actually hasnt installed the slave cylinder and he didnt do anything to it he said he put gas in it, so i went up today and put 5 more gallons in and it turns over but wont start, i think it may be the fuel pump because when you turn the key on you cant hear the pump come on.

Lol woah woah dont waste money just yet! Slow down a little...
Just be firm with them... Explain the car was fine when you took it to them and now it doesnt work..
If he uses racial slurs.. damages your car and denies it.. insults your and your family and craps on the hood of your car... Then go to a lawyer jk
Some mechanics do need a lawyer breathing down their neck to give in but most really just need to know you mean business..

Me and a buddy of mine took his car to get detalied (94Z28) we were on the way back to pick it up and it passed us on the highway at about 110 mph. Needless to say I ran it down and there were some impolite words said and my buddy got EVERYTHING he wanted (free detailings) for as long as he wants. He ALWAYS make them sign paperwork stating that the car is in perfect working order, the miles, and fuel level. They give you wierd looks but it binds them by contract. Pics are always good too.

It would be a good time to throw in a Walbro 255 or something. Probably cheaper than a stock replacement, and good for plenty of power.
