Default window motor ?

i remember hearing that their are a couple different window motors available. which one is the better one and where can i get it and for how much?

Autozone $60 with a lifetime warranty. Cant beat it in my oppinion

This sucks, I need one for my drivers side. Damn thing died at almost exactly 40,000 miles.

yeah mine just started to die the other day, how much work are these to replace? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I found some threads on here put all the pics/links don't work anymore.

I thought about that option, but $24 plus shipping then when it blows up you gotta pay the shipping to send it back then wait for it to get to you. I find it alot easier to go to the store and have it in hand the the same day you pay for it.


People claim its a pain in the ***, but changing the motor is a pretty damn easy task. The hardest part in my opinion is taking the damn door panel off and putting it back on. This should give you all the direction you need. http://www.shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html

do these motors have a brand name, like delco or something like that? i remember people recommending one brand over another.
