Default Puddle of AC cold water under car?WTF?

I was checking under my car for a tranny fluid leak (unrelated, but I checked my tranny fluid when I got home and it was almost empty, car wouldn't shift into 4th)

well anyway,
there is a puddle of very cold water under my car under the passenger side, on the engine side of the passenger wheel well,
I looked in the engine and couldn't find any leaks, there's no water inside the car, it's just leaking onto the ground,
any clues?

thanks

Pat

were you running your Air Conditioning? Probably condensation from that. Could be condensation from something else but unless it has some sign of anti-freeze i wouldnt be worried. That is unless you dont use anti-freeze and then your cooling system has a leak somewhere.

I'm doing it now. The problem I have run into is that the plate that came with my Firebird antenna is much different then the one shown in the pictures at the above ^^ site and so I'm going to have to fab a bracket up I think.

Also, you can get power and ground off the Monsoon amp if you have that but remote turn on is going to need to be run.

As for the original post....I'd go with condensation as well.

I thought it was just condensation as well, it was just much more than I had ever seen, but since it was so cold I assumed it was that.
The freon in the AC system isn't liquid is it?

It wasn't referigerant, it's a sealed system and under pressure - won't see it drip under the car. R134a can be liquid or gas, depending on what state it's in though.

It's condensation and will increase along with humidity.
