I replaced mine about 15k miles ago. I'll probably change it sometime soon, even though it's now a weekend car.l

The camaro, on the other hand, is another story. Being 18 years old, who knows when and if it's been changed. I plan on doing it over spring break.

bought my car with 56K and before 57K I changed everything (maint.) wise including flushing coolant. never had a problem with my fuel filter but then I change it every other oil change approx every 6K just to be safe

Changed mine at 114,000, I think it was never changed before and it has better throttle response. I will be changing it once a year from now on.

If it's plugged bad enough, it won't run at all.
