Default Engine whine after racing!?!

I tried search but, came up with a ton of possibilities. I thought I would explain my particulars and that might help diagnose it.
I have an 02 ws-6, A-4 with about 32,000 mi. I took it to a 1/8 mile track about two weeks ago and made three passes in about 40* or so weather. Within a day or two I noticed a low whine when accelerating from a stop to about 35mph or, so. Performance doesn't seem to be affected.
It never did this before. It seems to be coming from the right side of the engine as you look under the hood but, it can only be heard from inside the car. I've had rear end whine on two previous f-body's but, this doesn't sound the same. Ity seems to be from the engine.
Any ideas? Weather related? I checked fluids and as many mechanicals as I could with my limited knowledge but, everything seems to be tight and connected. My engine bay is also spotless so I don't think dirt is a factor????

this just happened to me. it may not be the problem, but check your power steering fluid. every time i would acclerate hard from a light, i would hear this annoying whine, then it would gradually go away. eventually the whine got worse and worse until my steering locked up haha. not exactly sure why it would only do it under heavy acceleration, but it ended up to be low power steering fluid... good luck!

Fluids look good. Anyone else have an idea?? I saw another post similar to mine. Same whine after burnouts/racing at the track.

could possibly be a spun bearing, but id think you would have a loss of power. id drain your oil and check for any metal shavings to be sure.
