Default What's the part number for the longer oil filter?

Anyone know what the number is? Does this filter make it easier to change filter with FLP headers? Any disadvantage to using this filter?

Thanks in Advance, <img border="0" alt="[Firebird]" title="" src="graemlins/formula.gif" />

or a Fram PH3675, Napa 1045,or Mobil 1 MI-206 which I believe has a anti drain back valve (check valve). Anybody?

Thanks Guys, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I'll look at a couple of these and let you know about the clearance with the FLPs.

kewlbrz, I just bought a 2000 Dark Green C5 Coupe, so thanks for the heads up on the filter hanging so low. I have'nt had it long enough yet to even worry about the oil system. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

You could also use the AC PF59, or the K&N HP2006.

The 59 has an antidrainback valve, the 58 does not.

I've used pf59 for a few years but I finally switched to the tall K&N filter which I have to admit does a better job.
