rear end fluid are there any signs that the rear end fluid may be low or out? i started getting a pretty good vibration at high speed and now i started to hear a strange sound when im just rolling and going slow from the rear of the car
all 4 tires are recently balanced and the driveshaft was rebalanced when i put in the clutch

how many miles are on the car? most people NEVER check their diff fluid. i would just get a little drain pan and drain all the fluid out and fill it back up. only problem is i never found a clean way to fill it up. if anybody knows one please share the secret haha. they put the fill spot where its impossible to tilt the bottle up enough to pour the fluid in

I am going to just replace the fluid and gasket so ill see how much is in it when i drain it. I dont drive it every day so its just gonna sit until i get my stuff.
I have one of the hand pumps for pulling the fluid out of the bottle so it wont be a prob filling it up, i used it when i did the tranny fluid.

I just use the Sta Lube "hand soap dispenser" type pump with the fill tube and the "stepped"/locking end fitting. This is less mess since you can get a full quart at a time into the axle (only 1 change of the bottle to fill).
