HELP! window wont roll up

HELP! window wont roll up ok I would search but I'm posting on my phone and I can't
my drivers side window won't budge and it is all the way down parked at my school. pasenger side works fine so it isn't the fuse. motor should be fine. I replaced it a while ago and have had no issues or slowdown whatsoever.
so what should I try to get this thing working with the least money and time spent possible?

* Make sure its getting power (connect a multi-meter to the power connector)
* Make sure the power connector is firmly attached
* Make sure something isn't jamming it.
If its not getting power, test the wires at the switch. Maybe the switch went bad (or worse, something else further down the line).
If its getting power, support the window and remove the motor from the door and test it again with the switch to see if it spins.
(The problem with this is that you may not be able to remove it with the window down.)
If it spins, either its weak or something is jamming the mechanism.

ok tested the switch and it is getting power. i took it to advance auto to see if they might have an idea and the guy said the noise is coming from the power window relay?
he said they cant even order that part. does that sound about right though?

Thats common too.
Get the motor out and test it directly. The motor may have failed (too weak or completely), or the window mechanism could be jammed.
Make sure you properly support the window and take care not to drop it on yourself or scratch it.

well ill be damned I pull in the dealership to have it diagnosed (i can't really do much on it here becaue I don't really have many tools or anything here and I really want my window up tonight) and as I park I hit the button as a reaction and it goes up and starts working fine

Same **** used to happen to me. Stopped working out of nowhere, then when I would close my door it would go up a little bit then stop. Replaced motor, fixed. Dunno if that's exactly what's wrong with yours but I'm just going by what you described. Good luck getting it ironed out.
