Window Problem
The motors are $59 and have a lifetime warranty
I change the window motors on my '99 every two years, that's how long this junk lasts.... takes about 30 minutes per side, including cleaning and greasing the tracks and regluing the plastic foil........
It takes a little longer the first time because you have to fdrillt he factory rivets out but that's it.... it's a piece of cake.....
Now... the dealer won't do this cheap..... they'll remove the entire motor and gear assembly.... THEN separate the motor from the assembly..... if you don't mind the bill go ahead and have the pros do the job.... and pay $$$....

Dealer wanted $163 + motor in my area.
I agree, the first time around its a PITA because you don't have the access holes drilled and you are operating somewhat blindly (and because its your first time
). Mine must have been replaced before because there were nuts/bolts holding mine in (no rivets). That made it a bitch since they were cranked down tight and with a flathead on the side facing the window. It was tough to get into that tight area.
