Default Plastic Broken around shifter bag

I just bought my 1999 Z28 and I got a good price. The best thing is I bought it from a lady who is 57 and it is totally stock and has a m6. I have to fix a few broken things like little plastic stuff. I am on the last one now and I am trying to figure out what it would be called. It is the plastic piece that hold the shifter bag on to the console. I am sure any of you tha have thrown in a short throw know what I am talking about. Any Help would be great.

I believe you can now order that plastic ring from our GM parts sponsor, Scoggin-Dickey. Give them a call www.SDPC2000.com

The whole plastic piece is in pieces (about 4 but some were small and are missing. I think she broke it an just didnt worry about it. I am planning on putting in a short throw shifter anyways so i figured it would be a good time to do it. I am contimplating on two types. 1 is the Pro 5.0 but my friend said it started to rattle with time. 2 is the SLP shortthrow. (I have the factory ball and I want to change it over to the hurst handel with a short throw. What you all think??

Screw the SLP, get the Pro 5.0. Those two are worlds apart.

I had the hurst shifter from the when I ordered the car, and I recently upgraded to the B&M ripper and boy o boy what a difference. Camparedd to the hurst it's almost like I snap-it into gear.

I wasnt sure if the SLP shifter was manufactured by SLP or not. I thought it may have just been a name because as far as I know Chevy bought out SLP. But the shiffter is only 98 bucks on afterthoughtsauto.com it says it is a short throw and people told me the pro 5 is really loud??
