Killed a o2 sensor, can I.....
Killed a o2 sensor, can I..... Installed headers last weekend and I had a problem getting one of the o2 sensors out (might of damaged it). Now im getting a code for that o2, my question is I have the rear o2's turned off can I just use a rear sensor for the front? There $75 new....

all 02 sensors for the ls1 are the same , i had the same problem with my driver side 02 sensor , all i did was use the rear ones it wont hurt anything ..trust me ive ran my car like that for 3 months now
They are not the same. I use corvette sensors (I think they are 2001 or something vette sensors) after I kept getting insuffecient switching codes after my header and duals install. These sensors were recommended from someone on this ls1.com years ago because they heat up faster or something along those lines. It worked and I never had a issue after that.
