Default Misfire

I was driving my car this weekend and it was raining very hard. Car was running fine and well, then i drove through a very large puddle at slow speeds and the whole car was practically engulfed in water. About a minute later the engine started to misfire real bad. I managed to get it home, and the next day the car would idle fine and i could rev it up but when I put it in gear and try to drive the motor misfires horribly, I can hardly make it up my driveway. I don't know if I should just replace the spark plug wires or if there is a bigger problem. What do you guys think?

What kind of air box setup do you have? Almost sounds like you sucked up some water.

It's the slp intake lid. By the way the codes im throwing are p0300, p0153, and p1153. So i think it might have something to do with my front pass. o2 sensor?

disconnect your o2 connectors and make sure there is no water in them, blow them out with compressed air. that should help.

Well, I had time to work on the car this weekend. I pulled the o2 sensor and put on an old one i had lying around, and the misfire stopped for about thirty minutes, then it threw a P0306 and P1153. This was the first time it named a cylinder w/ a misfire so I pulled the wire and the plug. Both looked fine, so I went and bought a new o2 sensor. After i put it on I drove around for about 25 minutes and it ran awesome, even better than before it started missing. Then it sat for about an hour, then when I started it to come back to school it seemed like it was missing slightly in first and second as i was leaving a neighborhood but the engine light didn't come on or anything and after i got on the main road it was fine. I drove it for about 50 miles to school and it ran fine in 5 and 6 gear. Does anyone know why it would be misfiring after the new o2 sensor was on and not throw any codes?

So.. I put in new o2s about two weeks ago and now the car is misfiring again. It will usually not throw any codes but today I got the 1153 again, does anyone know what i should do?

I have the o2 extensions on, they seem to look fine and the connection is good and clean. Could there be a problem with the extensions?
