I did a "burn out" and broke something

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

so i did a burn out on a concrete driveway. not even a burn out. i just tried to do one by pushing the gas and letting of the clutch and when i did it sound like something hit the concrete but that noise could've been the rear end hitting the concrete since my car is so low. but anyway..after doing the attempted burn out...i go to drive off on a road and i notice that when i shift to 2nd that the shifter stick is real wobbly. so now when i shift to every gear the stick feels real wobbly. what could it be? did i break something loose? a transmission mount maybe? nothing is hanging. i'm going to jack the car up soon and see if i see anything that could be wrong.

Is the shifter loose in all gears, or just every gear but first? You may just need to tighten the bolts to your shifter. When I rev at a standstill, my shifter stick moves about an inch to the right, so you may have just loosened it.

It mounts to the transmission via a cross member on the underside of the car.

Yes, that is probably the cross member. It is a black rubber piece between the cross member and transmission. I second it is probably that.

Take a look at your crossmember and trans mount thats probably it. May also want to take a look at your torque arm and see if it isn't bent or broken as well. It runs from the rear to the tranny.
