Default Magnaflow exauhst tip came looking like this...

Got it off ebay for cheap came boxed directly from Mag. didn't see this until the thing was put on and I took off the bubble wrap.....

I contacted the guy on ebay - he has like 47 other of the same exact system for sale, and says he stands behind his auctions 100% - however what do you think, do I have any other options if he comes back saying "it must have happened in shipping, sorry can't help ya" ??

Wrap some tape around the ends of a pair of pliers to help from not scratching it and bend the tip back to its normal shape? It doesnt look bad at all IMO

they make this tool at autozone that it's only function is to reround tail pipes. i think it's called a exhaust extractor or somthing like that. it's a tool in autozone that you put in and tighten up and it swells out to expand the pipe back into shape

Cool I'll check that out if the guy doesn't offer to ship me a new one and pay for the old one to be shipped back.

Mine came like that back in 2000 as well. I just took a small piece of wood and hit it with a hammer inside the pipe to get most of the irregularity out and then some pliers finished the job off. It looked like factory after I was done.

You might try to persuade it back to round. The only thing is, if you do that, it might void your chance of getting a direct replacement from Magnaflow

I think you'll be able to fix that in no time at all.
