Loudmouth question.

Is the loudmouth I or is the II louder? It's kindof a newb question, but I've never personally heard it.

LM1=louder, LM1=fugly sound
LM2=a tad quieter, LM2=badass sounding.

Thats just personal opinion though. The LM1 tends to have more rasp over LM2.

Yeah--the LM1 is really loud. Never heard the LM2.

On a scale of 1-10, how loud? I give magnaflow (stock manifolds and cats) like a 5.

Well since I had magnaflow with stock manifolds and Lts I would give it with stock manifolds a 8.

Yeah i'd say it's somewhat loud. Not like borla or slp loud, but louder than hooker and stock.

Way too loud with headers and an ory..I sold mine for true duals which are a lot quitter.

i have the LM1 with LT's and a friend with the same setup except with the LM2, LM1 way louder. LM1 is really just straight pipe exhaust. LM2 has a bullet muffler.

This is from first hand experience. The magnaflow is not loud enough. magnaflow I would give a 5/10 just like you did. borla I would give 8/10. the borla sounds badass the magnaflow sounds how the car should have sounded from factory.

Yeah I currently have magnaflow as well, hence the rating. I also agree with the borla being an 8, but i want like 9 or 10 without headers.

LM1 sounds awesome, headers or not. I have SLP LT's, CATS, YPIPE, LM1
and I love it. The longer I have it, The more I like it.

I have a LM1 and love it man. It's not just striaght pipe, Doesn't come any louder for just a catback though. If you do plan to get headers and a ORY save yourself the time and money and get something else.

That was my big mistake. Bought the car and dove headfirst and got a lid and LM. That was before I found this forum. A year later got LT's and ORY, wish I would have bought a different catback to start with.
