CSI is coming out with a LS1 electric water pump.

I'd wait to see how much theirs is.

I have heard that they are good for 5 hp. However, if you read the fine print, they don't last that long. I think it was 2500 hrs? Don't quote me! Just look it up.

How do they not last long? If you drive your car 2 hours every day the electric pump would last you 3 years and 155 days if it failed at 2500 hours. I guess 3 1/2 years is a short time for some people?

I believe the Meziere pumps are rated at 3000 hours before needing to be rebuilt. 3000 hours is quite a long time if you ask me. Lets just say that driving in town you average 15mph between being stopped at lights and actually driving. multiply that by 3000 hours the pump is rated and you have 45k miles. Enough for a couple years of driving. Even when the pump eventually burns out you would just need it rebuilt which costs alot less than a new pump would. I love my meziere EWP it's working great

I like my electric water pump so far. It's been working great. Most cars seem to be dynoing closer to 10 hp than 5 from the swap. The electric motor part of the pump is not that expensive to replace, should it ever fail. Less than 100 bucks.

Looks like my stock WP went out on me last night. It lasted 46K. So if the Meziere lasted 45K I would be happy with that.

I've had one on my wife's daily driven Vette for about 5-6 months now and it is awesome. No problems and much cooler temps are very nice.
