I am wondering if a person could set this up with two switchs. I was thinking that i could get two new switchs that would fit in the same place as the fog light switch and traction control switch.

Very nice write-up! I am actually looking for this exact setup (DPDT) wiring for high low function on the fans. Does anybody know what the color combination refers to on the SLP fan switch (Hi/Low). There is a black ground strap that is grounded to a stud in the engine bay close to the PCM. There are 3 colors on the SLP fan switch and I'm trying to figure out what each color is for, (Hi, Low, and center off). If anyone can give me the positions on the switch I will wire the SLP wiring into a (DPDT) that is in my EMBLEM PROS switch plate and post the schematic for this switch also.

Great write up just finished mine up.
Only problem I could not find anything even close to good for the led's. So I am wired for them and will find some when I go to a better area for stores. And I need to make a panel to cover where the astray goes.

there is nothing in this mod that will prevent a ses light. You can either use resistors to prevent pulling a full ground to the pcm, or do what SLP does in thier fan switch and tap into a hot wire with some components to prevent the pcm from seeing the full ground signal.

ABS plastic and a dremel is your friend. Takes no more than 20 minutes to fab one up. Do you have a Radio Shack around you? Radio Shack carries LEDs and resistors.
