Does it matter the order on how you wire it to the prongs?

The SES light does not come on b/c you are tapping into the OEM wiring for the fans. I know tha when Brian2006 did the fan mod his SES light came in, but he wired it differently, added a resistor and was good to go

I put them there bc i like that spot better. My shifter would be in the way if they were under the cig lighter.
so when the computer turns on the fan your light turns on? bad ***. i might do that

That is correct. You are tapped into the same pin from the harness.

I will be installing mine in the spring time

I am wondering if a person could set this up with two switchs. I was thinking that i could get two new switchs that would fit in the same place as the fog light switch and traction control switch.

Very nice write-up! I am actually looking for this exact setup (DPDT) wiring for high low function on the fans. Does anybody know what the color combination refers to on the SLP fan switch (Hi/Low). There is a black ground strap that is grounded to a stud in the engine bay close to the PCM. There are 3 colors on the SLP fan switch and I'm trying to figure out what each color is for, (Hi, Low, and center off). If anyone can give me the positions on the switch I will wire the SLP wiring into a (DPDT) that is in my EMBLEM PROS switch plate and post the schematic for this switch also.

I actually just figured out the SLP wiring this morning, real easy. Here is a link to the setup.

Great write up just finished mine up.

Only problem I could not find anything even close to good for the led's. So I am wired for them and will find some when I go to a better area for stores. And I need to make a panel to cover where the astray goes.

there is nothing in this mod that will prevent a ses light. You can either use resistors to prevent pulling a full ground to the pcm, or do what SLP does in thier fan switch and tap into a hot wire with some components to prevent the pcm from seeing the full ground signal.

ABS plastic and a dremel is your friend. Takes no more than 20 minutes to fab one up. Do you have a Radio Shack around you? Radio Shack carries LEDs and resistors.

Now that is pimptastic. How did you do the labels? My switch panel has a crapload of switches. Half of them aren't wired to anything, and I'm always worried about turning on my strobes or something accidentally.

and my cheat sheet.
