Well if that diagram with the measurements is correct, then there is no possible way it'll fit without modifying the cowl. Now with some heavy modification of the cowl and possible removal of the wiper motor that sits in the middle there (or at least torquing it up a little) this intake should fit. It would fit best and take less cowl modification if you use a .5" k member drop though.

I think this is very hopeful to say the least

I'm not sure about the stock hood measurement but I know from the stock valley cover to the lowest part of the cowl where this intake would be is roughly 8.5"

I measured it from the top of the motor to the top of the intake and you need 10 inches plus a tad to make it fit. Looks to be impossible to fit especially the back of the intake as our cowl will be the deciding factor.

Also talking to the guy at PRI he said it makes 25 more HP than the ls1 intake- I asked him twice about the ls1 and not the ls6 intake.

That's what I was looking at myself. Its like the car that comes out in Mad Max. Did you notice that the blower doesn't turn on until he throws the switch on.

it opens slow in the beginning then stays open all the way through the entire test. What you're seeing is the light through the intake walls 'cos the intake it's made of a light colored plastic (3D printing) in the prototype stage.

still no picture, cannot find it anywhere else, and edelbrock doesn't have a lot of information on their website about it.

Can't see any way that'll fit under the stock f-body hood/cowl. That makes interesting but pretty useless for the masses.
