doubtful, I'm sure they designed them only for their stuff to fit so that you have to buy them to use the intake.

They do have a proprietary fuel rail. The injector angle is set-up the same as OE so you could use a different fuel rail but you will have to engineer mounting brackets.

Also talking to the guy at PRI he said it makes 25 more HP than the ls1 intake- I asked him twice about the ls1 and not the ls6 intake.
It was tested against an LS6 intake.

More information will be released soon, including dimensional data. The product is new and has not shipped yet. The information delivery will flow after the 2009 catalog is sent to print.

Soon. Yeah I know, you hear that all the time! Seriously, the castings that everyone has shown from SEMA and PRI are real and tolling is done. They're ready for production. First production is scheduled for mid January availability.

Dimensions are as follows:
A height (front of block to top of throttle body flange): 9.61"
B heigth (rear of block to top of plenum): 9.54"
C length (front of throttle body to rear of plenum): 20.11"

I have milled heads .045... Would i need to have the end of the runners machined some so that the intake ports still match the intake runners?

Which style injector do you need?? the car style or will the truck style injectors work?

If anything you may need a thicker gasket as your spread (head to head) will be slightly wider. You could then do a gasket match on the intake and heads.

Has anyone taken these measurements and checked to see how much hacking is required on an Fcar?

Just do the math...If there is roughly 8.6" from the valley cover to the the lowest point of the cowl that is centered over the intake, and the intake is 9.5", you will have an .9" to be dealt with. The only feasible way would be to do a .5" k-member drop as well and then hack off a .4" from the cowl and it'll fit very tightly. If you want to hack more of the cowl then .4-.6" then the wiper motor assemble will have to be removed completely. Most likely it is going to have to be torqued up a little as it is even with only .4" being trimmed away.

I didn't want to read 14 pages, so if someone already asked sorry.
Will this be offered for the LS7?
Thanks

hmmm a fast is 1200 with TB... this is 500, +300 TB and 300 fuelrails?? ill propably still get one when i see a test that shows it to be noticably better than an ls6 on a well cammed engine with decent heads...

my combo is TEA stage 2 LS6 heads with 60cc chambers and a 226/232 .609/.604 111 LSA+2 cam, SW long tubes and dual 3 inch with x pipe in a 79 malibu.... what gains can i expect over a stock ls6 intake?? and will it cost torque lower in the range???

If your more worried about low/mid range power than your prob right the fast wont be worth much to you. The fast however from what I've seen creates more peak power by continuing to create power in the top end.

I'm supposed to have 8 plain finished intakes here just after the first week in January. I've got the fuel rail kits already............

I'm told it'll be a pretty good wait to get the next batch of intakes.
