Don't be afraid of modding a high milage car. I had around 120k on the clock when I did heads and a 224 cam. Had around 135K when I did it a second time with a MS3 cam and spun it to 6800 many times. Its all in how the car was taken care of.

i noticed you had the same part# 12561184 for vette ls1 non egr and 01-02 ls6 intake part# 12561184, which one is it

i also found out that the intake listed 88894339 is a ls6 intake from a 01-02 f-body

Yup, that shows up on GMpartsDirect as an LS6 intake.

congrats on getting the car...and cant you open the throttle blade up and look into the intake and the ls-6 is completely hollow where the ls1 has baffles?????
