Don't be afraid of modding a high milage car. I had around 120k on the clock when I did heads and a 224 cam. Had around 135K when I did it a second time with a MS3 cam and spun it to 6800 many times. Its all in how the car was taken care of.

i also found out that the intake listed 88894339 is a ls6 intake from a 01-02 f-body

Yup, that shows up on GMpartsDirect as an LS6 intake.

So i'm not the only one...thank god. I wish i was lucky enough to get an LS1 for christmas I just got a v6er for my birthday, but hey I can't complain.

congrats on getting the car...and cant you open the throttle blade up and look into the intake and the ls-6 is completely hollow where the ls1 has baffles?????
