Thats why I also liked my old TNT wet kit. It cleaned all this out when you sprayed

Damn thats bad looking. I just recently pulled off my heads on my 98 and they have had no oil at all with 60K+ miles. When I did my LS6 PCV setup, I used clear hose for the PCV valve and the hose from the valve cover to the TB. This way I can se if any oil is being sucked through.

that's how mine looks... my LS6 PCV setup sux ***... I had to install a catch can to prevent my car from smoking like crazy...

I made my catchan from clear line (so I can see the oil) ... I used alot of it so there's a valley/low point in the hose so Oil will settle there... also put a craftsman air/water seperator in place to catch the rest... so far so good..

Even a catch can added into the system will not cure that 100% if you are reving higher than stock rpms. I have a MODIFIED Greddy catch can and I still see oil in the intake ports at the heads albiet much less.

Valve Stems are down in the head. There wouldnt be oil in the ports/intake/TB as air travels down the system, not up

I do rev to ~6800, but have only done it twice since the build. I usually keep it under 4k. This is also with 20W50

I just drove my car 7 miles @ 6000 rpm plus continuous, with no noticeable oil loss. Using the LS6 valley cover.

I am very disappointed with the LS6 valley cover as well. I have the same amount if not more oil in the intake than with the stock setup.

Here's the cheap one I made. It seems to work pretty well.

Killer,
how well does your catch can work? So do you guys with catch cans just keep adding new oil all the time? I just added headers and now I'm burning oil like crazy!
