wow, funny you post this. i did the same a few months ago and was thinking of doing the same, ftra, 85mm lid, 85mm maf and a ud pulley. to try and make mine faster on motor. i bought the ftra and 85mm lid, and if i can find a 85mm maf cheap ill pick that up to. i would like .2 and 2mph off the ftra/lid combo and another .2 and 2mph off the pulley and maf

Thanks,

FTRA 85mm lid and 85mm maf was worth 10rwhp over a stock maf and aftermarket lid...with a tune...

a ftra is worth 10-12rwhp at the track when sealed up properly...

UD pulley is worth about 5 rwhp

total gain about 25rwhp...but that is with a good tune...

good luck on the 11.5s you are still stock internal right...what raceweight and what was the DA when u ran the 11.8 at 114

possibly if he gets a custom tune and ditches the predator, along with these other mods i could see him with some 11.4x's!!! if he gets a good launch

What wiring harness did you go with for the MAF?

In the spring time, i have Fast Toys 85mm Lid, Delphi 85mm MAF, DMH E-cutout and maybe 42# injectors all going on in the spring. I will be getting tune after all is installed too. I am trying to get as much HP with my stock H/I... If Chris is right, that the 85mm combo is worth 10, and i know the FTRA is worh at least 10 then i will be sitting at about 430 RWHP

Yup, still stock internals. I'm not sure what the da was that day.I'm prob going to have to get bigger converter to get the 1.4xs 60fts. Also on the 11.8 pass was when I still had the car shifting at 5500rpm, now its at 6100.

Good luck in achieving your goals!! Sounds like a great combination

The SLP 85mm MAF comes with a harness to connect to the stock MAF connector but that harness requires you to retain the stock detached IAT sensor.

If you want to run an 85mm MAF and enable the built in IAT sensor, you can purchase a 3-5 wire MAF harness adapter from us for 30.95. Then you don't need to run the stock IAT sensor which also means you don't have a drill a hole in our lid.

Thanks

I took a look at the et slip, it was at 2:48pm. Yeah, I wish I would have made to the track the last two weekends after that. From what I heard the air was even better. Where are you guys finding the da at?

yeah the best i could get was 1.54 with my ss3600...i would get a ss4000 it is one of the best converters out there hands down...try and find anyone else out there cam only pulling 1.38 60ft with stock 3.23 gears ...check out the cam only list gotta go pretty high up to see that 60ft...also the tq from my cam helps out alot too... hits hard off the line

i am also very impressed with the new converter sponsor to the site too...he has got a h/c/i pulling 1.31 60fts that is amazing

How streetable is the ss4000. What would be a good cam combo with that stall, for future reference...... The 60s that you are pulling are crazy
I think I am going to leave the car how it is for now, except a tune, 15s for out back and little more wieght reduction. Run what it runs in march, then make the necessary changes... like the stall and then cam......but I'm not sure yet
