Thoughts on Dynomax Catback?
Any experiences with the Dynomax Catbacks?
I love the sound and WILL be purchasing one unless there are a great deal of dissenting opinions.

I don't want to hear about what you have and why its better, or whatever just what you think about the Dynomax.
Thanks guys.

I think Dynomax makes great mufflers. I cannot personally say that I have used them on my Fbody, but my buddy has a pair of their bullet's on his Lincoln Mark VIII and they sound great. The quality is also superb as he opted for the stainless steel version and after two and a half year's, there is almost no discoloration and the placement of the muffler's seems to be the same as the day that they were installed.

Just put a dynomax catback with a super turbo muffler on my 02 Z28. It's quieter than the Hooker Aerochamber catback I replaced, and it sounds a tad deeper, also. Easiest installation I have done on an F-body exhaust.... everything was lined up where it was supposed to be, unlike the Hooker system... definitely recommended!

Welds looked pretty decent. SLP y pipe was already on, but I don't think it made too much difference, power-wise. It' stainless steel with mandrel bends, however, so it probably goes under the "every little bit helps" column.

Just wanted to give you a little info. Check out my thread on the Jegs catback. It uses a turbo muffler, which sounds a lot like the Dynomax turbo muffler. It might be, for all I know. Jegs just might be selling it for cheap. Anyway, here is the thread with some sound clips. It is a great budget catback with a sweet muscular tone. Best part is it only costs $249 with free shipping!! Here you go:

no hes not talking about that. that is the texas speed rumbler catback, and though it does include a dynomax bullet muffler, it is not the same complete system that he is talking about

It sounds like several people have tried the Dynomax and really liked it. It never really comes up in discussion unless someone asks about the quietest cat-backs. I know that Dynomax products flow really well, and have since they were conceived. Kind of an old-school company.
Thanks for all the conversation guys. And lets hear that exhaust Raise!

Your workload is obviously not as heavy as mine. It varies from semester to semester, but it is usually pretty hectic. I go to an 8-week semester university, as opposed to 16-week, so you are given double the workload, considering you have half the time to take it all in. Anyway, this is the last week of the semester and I have a month off for Christmas. I should be able to get a clip up next week at the latest.
