Default MAF sensor help, bought new MAF and STILL not working...

Like title states, i thought my old MAF sensor went bad, so i went & bought a brand new one from the dealership & I'm still not getting a reading.

I'm using HP Tuner software - Scanner to read.

I've tried spraying brake cleaner on the plug, but no luck.

Are there any joints in the wiring or anything that might be causing this problem?!

check the plug, make sure the pins are seated all the way.

If they are start moving back and ohm through your harness from the MAP sensor connector to the computer and make sure you have continuity.

What lead you to think it was a bad MAF? What are the symptoms?

...I'm using the HP Tuner software, I'm reading what the ECM sees.

Check the fuse box under the hood. One of the fuses labeled Engine is a MAF fuse.

curious...does it still apply to the ls1 engines if you unplug the MAF sensor and the car runs decent its an indicator of a sensor issue?

that pushes it into open loop right...which eliminates most sensor readings.

seems like that use to work with the LT motors as a diagnosis method.

just wondering.
