Borla/Corsa exhaust setup? Got a question

Borla/Corsa exhaust setup? Got a question Right now I have a Borla Adj. setup. I bought a corsa muffler and the tailpipes but didnt get the over the axle part. Think i could use the over the axle part from my borla and just cap the part off where the plates go and use it like a cut out? Bolt the muffler up and its tailpipes?

A guy on here pm'd me sayin he had a corsa setup but was keepin the tips and the over the axle part. So I gave 250 for the muffler and tail pipes and bought the 3.5 outlet clones off ebay.

Won't work. The part where the plates go (flange) is incorporated into the Borlas passenger side tailpipe. Lose the Borla and it's tail pipes and you lose the flange. You could use the Corsa muffler and its tail pipes with the Borlas I pipe, you'd just lose the flange tho. Theoretically tho you could cut that flange out of the Borlas tail pipe and possibly insert that into any catback tho. Hmmm.

Corsa with a nice nasty cam doesn't get any better imo. its what i've wanted for along time. A over the axle peice straight from corsa is only 80 bucks so if it doesnt work ill just buy one from them.
