Default Guys with headers, I have a quick question.

What size are the nuts or maybe bolts that connect the factory exhaust manifolds to the cats/factory y pipe? I know i need a deep socket. Thanks guys.

The socket size you need is 15mm.

Now that doesn't answer your question if you need new ones. They have a 15mm hex head, 10mm threads, but I don't know the thread pitch.

Maybe it depends on the year. Both my '01 and '02 were 15mm.
You should get 6 point sockets because they're going to be rusty and tight.

Ditto, I'd soak them with PB Blaster (great stuff!) for a while before you even attempt to attack those nuts. It's pretty common that they'll just snap off/break instead of actually threading off...it's actually not a bad thing

all that time you spent waiting on someone to tell you what size socket it was you could have gone out to your car and just figured it out in probably 2 min at the max.

well i dont have deep sockets that size because i allready tried and none fit. and i dont feel like jacking my car up and crawling under there right now to try to squeeze a wrench up there when it only takes a few seconds to post this up.
