is there any advantages....

....to going with a vic jr. with Accufab 4bbl throttle body over a FAST 92/92 for a mostly track car?

FWIW... its 1 12:1 408 with Stage3 LS6 heads 2.08/1.60 valves and 248/254 .611/.622 cam

please advise, thanks in advance

May flow better. Don't know specific #s. But it will hold heat. Incoming air will be warmer. Not good for cramming cyl's w/as much air as possible.

I'll put it this way, I don't see any disadvantages of doing that, how far are you revving it?

Hmm, from what I have gathered on the forums here and nowhere else the victor jr really likes a lot of rpm and a cam thats spec'ed for the intake. What those cam specs are though are beyond me. You can port the crap out of the jr but somewhere on here earlier today I saw some pictures of another jr. style manifold that looked so much nicer but it sat couple inches higher than the victor. I'll see if I can find it again.
