Help! Terrible track times! I went to the 1/8 mile strip last night. Last time out I ran an 8.71@82.8 2.03 60ft with a lid and cutout. Last night after adding Pacesetter headers, off road y pipe, and a ASP pulley it only ran an 8.67@83.8 2.05 60ft!!! What is wrong?!!! The temp was in the 60's on both runs (8.71 and 8.67). I think it should have at least ran an 8.30-8.40! Please help me out!

Re: Help! Terrible track times! Get your air/fuel ratio checked out. You may have a nice lean condition at part throttle meaning your LTERMS will be positive. If they are positive and you go to WOT, they will not go to 0 at WOT as they are supposed to. This will not send enough fuel to the mixture and this will make your car not perform as it should.

Re: Help! Terrible track times! Headers typically make you run rich.. So yeah Like previous statement.. Get a MAF translator and get someone to autotap it at WOT runs and watch what she does and if it's fine I don't know what to say

Re: Help! Terrible track times! What about the headers hitting the k member and pulling timing out due to false knock? I put the torque strap mod on and did the heater hose mod on the y-pipe and the where it was hitting on the k member. I also put a poly trany mount on. I can't hear or feel it hitting anymore. Do you think It is still pulling timing out? I was thinking either it needs tuning or the timing is being pulled out. I'm just real ticked because I put a lot of $$$ on these mods with no performance gain!
