I am running 3.5 oval duals and I could run a dual inlet boomtube if I wanted to but you would still need some mufflers or resonators otherwise you have open headers.
I'm tempted to modify my current 3.5 oval exhaust so I could run a boomtube on the passenger side, I wonder if the longer pipe and a 2-1 merged boomtube would quiet my car down.

Sorry...no pics under the car. This car is friggin LOUD. Too loud for any sane person.
Would the placement of the bullets hinder the performance of the exauhst? Both the unequal and equal length crossover junctions have a X built into them for scavanging purposes. but I have heard that you should always put mufflers after the X.
I am seriously considering doing this.
