I don't have the rear lines of the pvc connected at all. They are just vented to the atmosphere.

The puff I'm talking about is when I accelerate, and it is coming from the exhaust. I pulled the lid and MAF to check inside the TB and intake, and it is bone dry.

Should I reconnect the driver side and pass. side?
blk00ss,

Here is how I recommend connecting your PCV system based on the information provided. Keep in mind that a catch can will not fix mechanical issues. If the engine is too loose, burning oil, etc, a catch can will do nothing to help these conditions.

Thanks aaron, thats what I was looking for. But I have onemore question...the check valve that you have pictured inline wfrom the catch can to the intake, it says the one built into the revextreme catchcan. Do I need to purchase a seperate check vlave to put where you have it pictured, or will the one inside of my catch can suffice?

I separate it in the diagram for viewing purposes only. The valve in the RevXtreme can is fine. Also, since your using an external variable orifice valve it would help PCV flow to eliminate the restrictor built into the valley cover.

I spent all night last night with a friend re-thinking the pcv system for this car - we finally gave up after a bit, and here we have an answer. 405hp_z06 <3 - that's awesome.

saikoumichi.com or revxtreme.com are the best currently going.

Big_Bird_WS6,
Which throttle body are you using? Does it have a vacuum port on it?

Let me repeat, saikoumichi.com is the ONLY cans I will use or recommend.

It's your money and you may spend it how you please, but don't be surprised when other brands don't work.

The pictures are a little dark, but it looks like a port above the throttle cable cam. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Concerning cans, I have the DC-3. For your application I'm going to recommend custom dual 'Stage 2 OCC' cans. On forced induction applications you need as much flow as possible through the PCV system to slow blow by to 1 meter/second or less. This means you need larger hoses and cans with larger internal tubes.

Once I post your configuration and you agree, you can take that and email SM or RevXtreme and have them custom manufacture the cans. More details on exact can configuration later this evening.

I can't post a link, but if you go to SM's website and selet the 'Stage 2 OCC' on the left, it will give you an idea of what the can looks like.

Big_Bird_WS6,

Here is your PCV configuration, let me know what you think. I only show one turbo but you can plumb the clean air source to either or both inlets.

Just to make sure - this same configuration would work fine for a Procharged application on an LS1 (w. ls6 intake) - I believe the valve covers and valley are effectively identical, correct?
