Anyone seen a gain from a flowmaster merge rather than the shitty TSP crap?

Has everyone with a custom y-pipe had to cut the brace or hammer it up to tuck the pipe in there on the drivers side.

No brace here. I use an SLP driveshaft loop.

not the one is just on with 4 bolts under the driveshaft the one on the driver side about where there turn starts for it to head for the y collector. I went to a shop the other day and he said to get it to tuck up there it would have to be 2.5" piping and and he would have to cut and hammer on that area.

What size flowmaster merge are yall going with, I was thinking 2.5 inch inlet and 3.5 outlet to a 3.5 cutout. then tapered down to the stock muffler. I was thinking 3 inlet to 4 outlet with a 4 inch cutout is too big.

When I build a y pipe or duals on the car I cut that brace out. You can get about an extra 1/2". A 1/2" is alot when you only have about 4".

^ the second and third picture looks like a snake is headed someone's way. You could freak someone out if they didn't know what that was and it was dark and you had them come in and cut the light on.

Here's mine. I'm at a little disadvantage to some of the others since I have the MWC fab'ed 9" and have that tq arm brace. It causes you to have to have the merge much farther foward towards the engine which causes some crazy tight bends for the driver side pipe.

And, a quick sound clip of open versus closed.
