no i messed around with it and searched to make sure all the grounds were getting good contact. and kept trying it till one day it fired up, i must have pulled something loose during the cam swap. what i meant was the part about the speedo, my speedo, gas, and temp stopped working, and i couldnt access the diagnostic port, and it ran like ****, would barely pull itself down the road, then after playing with it it just cleared up. i probably have a loose wire.

Did you use a "write-up" or a "how-to"? If so, can you link it?

Was the install difficult? I ask because I have heard that its super easy to break the sensor in the back.. and I'm not sure where/what sensor it is or what it looks like. Pics would be helpful, if you got any.

Sorry for the it looks good btw

Yeah my brother stuck his big *** hand behind the intake and broke the sensor as well....75 bucks for a new one. Just be careful when pulling the intake out, make sure the big vaccum line doesnt get snaked around the sensor. After you have done an intake swap once it becomes really easy.

you may not "need" a tune, after you drive it around for a bit the car will relearn, but of course a tune would be a great idea, and would net you more gains.

id like to hear your opinion on those 2 mods because im about to do both and wonder if they are worth it.

Get that **** tuned after you do cam/spray, just don't beat on it, drive it nice and easy. Make sure you pull enough timing for your spray. How much you gonna be spraying?

LS6 Intake swap and PP TB are easy bolt on mods, the only thing to worry about is breaking the Oil Sending Unit (the sensor in the back). Just be wary of it, and you'll be okay. You probably won't notice a HUGE difference in performance, but you will net some gains, especially with a tune.

Looks great man. PP makes a great tb too. Ditch the frc's though, IMO, they were the first gay thing to get trashed the day I bought my C6.

You also shouldn't need a tune. Give it a few miles to adjust a bit.

yeah it will be getting the tune after the cam/spray and im spraying a 100 shot to start...im doing the cam/spray this coming weekend and its crappy weather out so i probably wont be able to tell you if it made much of a difference lol..should be a whole different car...but imo the ls6 intake and pp tb are proven to be worth the $$
